At exactly two weeks ago, we talked about a duo of DJs who are making a huge success on the Brazilian dancefloors, the Cat Dealers. That being said, you'll probably think that we have a preference for electronic music, or for DJs, or for both when we tell you that our Artist of this Week is also a DJ. This, however, couldn't be farther from the truth, as we will explain. We are an eclectic web site, that will always be posting about the most varied musical genres; it was only a coincidence that almost two times in a row we talked about artists within the same musical style. Both artists are completely different amongst themselves, that's why it's worth it to take a look at them!

Summer Vibes
Ah... The sun! A tasty juice with lots of tiny ice cubes, fresh comfortable clothes, soft breezes playing with your hair and a stroll along the beach shoreline… Tell me, in a  weather like this can something possibly go wrong?

As a matter of fact, it unfortunately can. The pleasant and enjoyable summer vibes can fastly vanish and turn into a big disaster if you aren't fully equipped with the most important thing of all (besides sunscreen and lots of drinkable water, of course): the right soundtrack.
And, as the summer is about to start in the south portion of the hemisphere, we’ll suggest you a great addition to your summer playlist (I know, we're the best). Ladies and Gentleman, welcome into your lives our Artist of the Week: Bruno Martini.

Don’t be sad, North Hemisphere folks, the sun will shine for you too (eventually...). And, when it does, you can put your floral shirt on and add our artist to your playlist! Or, if you don't like to wait... do it right now, don’t waste any time and use the occasion to your advantage, to heat things up!
Close the windows, turn on all the lights at home and raise the heater temperature! It may not be the ideal summertime scenario, but it can help you get in the mood. It doesn't hurt to try...

The World Is Mine
Every time we listen to Bruno stays with us this really cool and chill feeling; that nothing bad will happen today and that, if today’s already being bad, all we need to do is turn around a corner and the sun will be there, shining brightly as ever, just for us. His music always sounds interesting, as he usually combines elements of pop and rock with the electronic music. This results in upbeat at the same time relaxing songs, which is unusual but works really well.

But, first things first, let me do things properly and introduce you guys better: Bruno is a young (yet already really accomplished) musician, singer, songwriter, producer, actor, DJ and... civil engineer!
His professional career in music started in 2012, when he was only 15 and Walt Disney Records signed him and his friend, Mayra Arduini (nowadays known as Stryder).
Together, they formed the band College 11.
They recorded two albums and starred three seasons of the first brazilian Disney Channel series called “Que Talento!”.

In 2016, the son of Gino Martini, ex-Double You, started a solo project. With Stryder's vocals, he released independently his first single “Somewhere to Go”.
Shortly after, he released with Alok and Zeeba, the song “Hear Me Now”. The tune broke various records, reaching after one month of release the 1st position in sales of iTunes Brazil, the incredible number of 250.000 plays per day on the Brazilian Spotify and 10 million views on YouTube. He also landed a place on the Top 50 Spotify (worldwide), the 8th position of singles in Norway, the 11th in Sweden and the 20th in the American Billboard Ranking of Electronic Music. Last, but certainly not least, he received a certified platinum record by the Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI).

After this humongous success, on 17th February 2017, Bruno signed with the label  Universal Music Group, that is spreading his work all around the globe.

Martini has also another success, called "Living On The Outside". He produced this song, as well as played some of its instruments and sang.
His rock vocals combined with the electronic beats make the song interesting and very melodious to listen.

A lot of expectation is created towards his name, as Bruno is said to have the potential to be one of the greatest brazilian DJs. Thanks to his diversified abilities, many are labeling him as the “Brazilian Calvin Harris.”
